WW vs. MFP

Hi Everyone,
I just signed up for MFP after a year with WW. I've lost 34 lbs but have become totally stuck. I'm doing an intense Cardio Barre workout 3-5 days a week, staying within my points/flex points, and never eating what I've worked off, yet somehow I'm not losing weight. The math just doesn't make sense. Soooo.....hoping MFP will help uncover what is going on.
Has anyone else done both programs? What are your thoughts/experience?
Thanks for sharing!

Are you using a food scale? Honestly, they are similar methods but MFP is free. Also, ahve you started to log your food on here?0

I have done both programs, lost weight on both, and kept it off. I love both programs but MFP is free. Without looking at your WW diary and activity tracking, it's hard to pinpoint the problem. However, if you are going to track in MFP, get a food scale and a set of measuring cups for liquids. Practice measuring, weighing, and tracking all of your food. Do the same with your exercises and calories burned. This is the only way to figure out any issues with weight loss.0

I did WW once to lose ten pounds ... I gained it back plus 30lbs. When I was doing WW I borrowed the books and activity trackers... there were no mobile apps. It was a pain in the butt because I always had to look up stuff in the books and had to carry them with me. I prefer mfp b/c of the mobile apps and the bar code scanner. I also like that it is always with me. I find that I understand More about calories of food when reading labels rather than points ... to me mfp makes more sense0

Or do you mean your 'weekly extra points' by 'Flex points'? If so, how many points per day do you have? If you're eating those plus all your 'weekly points' plus 3-4 servings of fruit a day, it can be maintenance level calories. All you can do is reduce on one, like try giving up your 'weekly points' or lowering your daily points goal yourself, if you prefer to keep the weeklies instead. Or reduce fruit, if you're having more than a few servings per day.
Or calorie count.
There is a way to have MFP calc your WW points in a column of your diary. The link is near the end of my profile.
Good luck!0
