Avoiding the yo-yo

Hello Everyone,
I have been off an on with myfitnesspal for a few years. I find that I lose weight to a healthy place for my regular workouts and the comfortable fit in clothing. However, when it comes to maintenance, I completely get off track and try to eye-up my calories, with no luck. This is the yo-yo dieting that I seem to always have.
As I am approaching my goal weight, does anyone have any simple steps to starting out the maintenance part of the healthy lifestyle?
