Damn the big arm of the corporate giant!

I am going to be blocked from accessing all websites that are not deemed business appropriate!

This is business appropriate if you ask me - my health and well being are important! I am more productive (when I am not replying to posts for 6 straight hours), I have more energy (to type faster when I am excited about a new topic someone has started...), well....perhaps they have a point..

I am going to miss everyone during the day, but I will continue to post at night!!

    Well the big man is shining down on me today! He knew I couldn't go cold turkey!!

    Apparently there is something wrong with my system and they are not able to complete the migration - but since they got half way through, all I can do now is open the internet!! Oh, the irony! :laugh:

    So I am off to make a few last posts!

    Google the terms 'web proxy' and give it a shot. If not, if you have a home pc with a fast connection and http://www.logmein.com isn't blocked, you can give that a try too.

    There's a ton of ways around it. Another option is to try http://4.78.241.70 instead of http://www.myfitnesspal.com. These are all hit or miss depending on how bright your IT department is. If they know what they're doing, good luck :(

    I have several websites blocked at work - but if you go to:

    www.notrack.org

    and type in the web address in the box in the middle of the screen - you can bypass the red tape. Using this "deflector" website, I can search craigslist, MFP, and all the blocked websites from my work computer. Thank goodness for "backdoor" methods, lol!
