weight loss and eating disorders

So this morning I bumped into a friend who I haven't seen in a long time, over a year ago. The last time I saw her I was a lot bigger than I am now.
The first thing she said to me was "oh, you're far to skinny, you look like you've lost too much weight, are you sure everything's ok, my sister suffered from anorexia"
Seriously? - Just because someone wants to get healthy, wants to feel good about themselves, DOES NOT mean they have some sort of eating disorder - however, I fully understand it's an easy trap to fall into.
I enjoy food, of course I want to look good, but loosing weight was not the reason I changed my lifestyle. I have never felt so good about myself since early teenage years, my skin is glowing and I have so much energy.
It really upsets me, when I have worked so hard to become the person I am now, for someone to come along (who I haven't seen a long time) and tell me I have an eating disorder. What must everyone else be thinking?

Thats her problem, I wouldn't waste my time trying to work out her pathology.
If you're happy and healthy thats all that matters.
Shrug it off and remember... you haven't seen this person for a while for a reason!
Keep up the great work!0 -
You best get used to them comments - I used to get them all the time!!!
People used to say to me 'Oh you looked so much healthier bigger' 'Oh go on, eat that, I bet you wont' 'You still eating rabbit food' etc!!! 'People at my work used to always get those mini pizza's for lunch, and always comment 'Oh I bet you wont have one'
Yes it does PISS YOU OFF .... Just knock it all on the head... Smile & carry on! Try not to take it to heart, otherwise it will upset you!!!!
Do what makes YOU happy!!! Hey, if you have all that energy, feel happy & healthy in yourself - Good for you!
Next time anyone says any comments to you with regards to your weight...... Just simply smile... And walk away : )
There you go... DONE!!! : )0
