is this a real 6" we are talking about, or a guy version?
My initial thoughts too.
In terms of a wrist? Yeah, it's a lot. My wrists are only 5.5 inches so if I lost 6 inches I'd have problems (sadly the rest of me is not that lean, I just have boney wrists).
WHAT???0 -
Your hips might shrink next. Weight loss always seems to go 'top down' for me. Nice job!
I hope so I don't want to buy new jeans I want to go down to my smaller jeans.0 -
That's a great loss. well done0

This thread is making my day!
And congrats on the progress!0 -
Last night I realised that I have lost 6" off my waist is this alot in most people's standards?
I wasn't really sure I haven't gone down more than one size in clothes as my hips have only gone down by 2"?
6" on a steak? No!
6" on your waist? That's fantastic! Congratulations0 -
I totally thought this post was going to be about something else.
Yep.0 -
Glad I'm not the only one with a dirty mind! lololol
6 inches is a lot! I have only 2! I am so frustrated.0 -

You have only 2 inches? That would be very frustrating indeed.0 -

Just a pain I can't get into my silmer jeans even though my current ones are way too big on my waist.
get used to it...apparently having hips/butt means you can never find jeans that fit everywhere...unless you want to spend 120 on barbell apparel jeans which I am not prepared to do just yet.0 -

Hahah! Freudian slip? lolol I meant I have only LOST 2 inches.0 -
OMG yes! I lost 3.75'' from my hips, neck, and waist total, and that has left me smiling for days. I would be doing a serious serious happy dance if I lost 6'' from my waist alone! Congrats!0

Really thought this was going to be about something else.
Congrats on your loss!0 -
I have a 9" minimum
goal for what I'm hoping to lose from my waist.
So I would definitely say 6" is great progress OP.0 -

OMG lol, just came back to this and realised my vision was blurred by the innuendo and I totes misread your post. In any case, 6 inches off your WAIST is awesome, way to go! Keep going and your hips will catch up.0 -

Six inches is a lot!
that's not what she said...
oh wait...
Is it sad that my mind immediately went there?0 -
Well I started off with a waist of 42" and hips of 43"
Now I have a waist of 36" and hips of 41".
I am a hourglass shape when I'm not covered in fat.
I think I have lost some weight around my chest as my band on my bra is on a tighter hook but I didn't measure that when I started.
This makes total sense if your an hourglass at your ideal/slim size. Think about it this way - hourglass means a waist from 8-10 inches less than hips roughly 34-24-34, 36-26-36, 38 28 38 etc. depending on weight and body frame. If you lost 9 inches off your waist you will have a 27 inch and the same inch loss would bring you to a 32 inch hip, which would leave you with only a 5 inch difference between your hip and waist. Sounds like you gain and loss weight off your waist first and you are on your way back to your old familar shape.
Just a pain I can't get into my silmer jeans even though my current ones are way too big on my waist.
Yeah, I have this problem too. My waist has gotten smaller, but not my tummy or my hips. But, seriously, 6 inches is amazing! Great job on the hard work!0 -

Thanks for all your nice comments probably another 10" to go but 6" is a nice start and I'm only another 4" from being in a healthy range.0
