Favorite Low Calcium Meals

Hi All,
I started a new medication yesterday that means for breakfast and dinner, I have to have low calcium meals (calcium binds with the medication, making it less effective).
I was wondering what y'alls favorite low calcium meals were? I am going to be on the medicine between 3 and 8 weeks and I thought that the lack of calcium would be easy to deal with, but it turns out I ~really~ like my cheese, and I'm already feeling deprived. I need foods to be excited about!
Thanks for your help,

If it's only for 3 to 8 weeks, can't you just skip the cheese? Seems pretty simple. Not many recipes have cheese as a mandatory ingredient.0

How about you have cheese at lunch if you really can't stop for 3-8 weeks. It's pretty easy to eat low calcium. Breakfast could be oatmeal and berries. Dinner could be chicken or fish and vegetables.0

If you like asian food, look for those types of recipes. There's not a lot of cheese in asian food but there's usually a lot of flavor from things like garlic, onions, ginger, etc.0

There's loads of dairy free foods out there!
The Asian food idea someone mentioned is awesome. Loads of noodle dishes, Pad Thai, Ramens are all dairy free.
Also things like chilli con carne, spaghetti bolognese (without the cheese and with dry pasta, not fresh).
Any meat and 2 veg types meals.
Roast dinners...
The world is your oyster... literally!
Also be wary of some veg that could be high in calcium, I think there are some leafy veggies that are quite high in it - worth doing a Google search to work out what you really need to be eliminating.0 -
Hi!
Don't forget calcium is present in loads of foods other than dairy- here is an article with an info-graphic which shows other foods that are high in calcium.

Good luck and remember you are on the way to getting healthy, so a small sacrifice in the short term will improve your health long term.

Thanks for the link! I would not have guessed to avoid oranges or raw broccoli. That's probably the two I would have accidentally eaten without realizing it could be a problem.
I know it's only for between 3 and 8 weeks, but truly enjoying my food is what keeps me away from cookies and brownies and such. I found about 4 recipes that I'm genuinely excited about that are low-calcium, so I'm excited to try those.
* Seared Scallops with Wilted Watercress and Bacon
* Sweet and Spicy Shrimp with Rice Noodles
* Stone Fruit Chicken-Rice Salad
* Brined Pork Tenderloin with Plum and Jicama Relish over brown rice
And Asian food is a great idea, just apparently no edamame!0
