Healthy Pregnancy

Hello MFP Team,

I'm 22 weeks pregnant with number 2 and trying very hard to maintain my current weight and not gain any more by the end of the pregnancy (in consultation with doctor and dietician - absolutely not trying to compromise my health or that of our growing baby).

This weight conundrum arose because I didn't lose the baby weight after number 1 (born Oct last year) and instead embraced complex carbohydrates (akin to anticipating a global shortage of vegemite toast) as the seeming answer to the mind numbing fatigue of being a new mum… Guess what: I still felt (feel!) horribly tired and my life mojo is probably stashed at the back of my cupboard along with my abandoned pre-pregnancy clothes.

I'd love to hear from members sympathetic to the cause and would appreciate some motivating buddies to help (us all!) stay focused during the day on making great choices - for ourselves, our families and futures.
