I've signed up for a 10k in April 2011!! It'll be my first!!! I'm sooo excited, but I want to make sure that I train properly. I've googled several training programs and don't really know which ones are best. There are 5 week ones, 10 week ones... etc..
Does anyone have any experience with 10k training programs ??
Would enjoy training with someone.. if your interested ?!

    I like Hal Higdons training plans personally. I have used his 10k, half and full marathon ones. As far as timing goes (aka 5 week or 10 week) I would say is dependant on your current running status, if you are new to running, the longer one would probably be more beneficial, if you are used to running long-ish distances, a shorter one might be ok.
