So I tried out my polar ft4 today and I'm not sure what I'm doing. When I got off the ellipitical after 18 minutes I lifted weights for about 15. Well, for my session it says 308 calories burned, but when I just put 18 minutes in mfp for elliptical it says 308. Does the polar not count resistance training? Am i entering it in correctly on mfp? Thanks

I don't trust the machines..some have been pretty accurate and some have not. It's measuring your heart rate, it should be more accurate than the elliptical.0
