New to This sort of....

Hi everyone, I am new to tracking nutrition but new new to tracking my fitness. I have been up and down with my weight and fitness many times. I have completed many road races including Half Marathons and one Half Ironman but that is all history. This is about the present. For about 4 years now, I have been making nothing but excuses and I am tired of it. I am heavier than I have ever been and I am struggling to get a healthy pattern going. A friend recommended MFP and now and I am thinking about getting a Fitbit or Vivofit because I really like the information provided. I am feeling motivated and could use some help. Also, I want to provide motivation whenever I can. So Good Luck to everyone and let's do this.

    I'm really impressed with the half-Ironman. You must have an excellent core of strength to build back on. I'd love to get back into that kind of shape!
