Protein Shakes

Hey all, I'm trying to come up with some protein shake recipes that are a little better than what I've done in the past; a more rounded sort of breakfast smoothie. Does anyone have experience using veggies in their fruit-based protein shake?
I'm going to try a recipe:
4 oz orange juice
50 g banana (roughly half a banana)
170 g (6 oz) Zoi Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
1 scoop EAS whey protein powder (about 18 g)
10 g ground flax seed
4 oz H2O
5 ice cubes
... and maybe add some spinach? Would that taste terrible? I see recipes that "hide" spinach in sweet protein shakes so I'm wondering if this is going to taste ok before wasting ingredients! Anyone try something like this?
If I added spinach, this recipe would be:
335 cal
28 g protein
5 g fat
44 g carb
4 g fiber
plus hefty doses of Vitamin A, C, Calcium and Potassium.0 -
One scoop Isopure vanilla creme protein powder... mix with 1/2 cup of milk. Pour into 12 ounces of hot but not too hot coffee. My favorite way to consume protein powder.0
