Sorry folks, I thought I had done this, but it appears I haven't! I'm not normally this rude.

I'm a middle aged chap from the UK who likes cycling / running / swimming & the gym. I used MFP, along with getting active, to loose 30lbs a couple of years back when I gave up smoking. Then I stopped using it, as my weight and measurements were fairly stable, then started again as I realised that my diet was poor and wondered if I could become a more competitive cyclist by improving my diet, then stopped when real life intervened, and have started again. I've only a few lbs (6 to be honest) to loose after a couple of months off training, but I want to make sure I am getting the right foods in me to keep me as healthy as possible once I hit that so I am determined to stick at it and use it to help me with maintenance and training.
