Want to lose weight but don't know how to start?!

So, you want to lose weight? Let me be the first to tell you, it is NOT easy. And believe me, I know this from experience. But the feeling afterwards is VERY worth it. You'll be healther, look healther, and feel healther. But how do you start? I will tell you!
Don't go too fast too soon! Take it slow at first! But of course, not too slow! There are a lot of begginer workout videos online on sites like youtube. And if you think you're ready, move on to something more challenging! I will post some begginer and advance excercise workouts you can do in a seperate post!
You'll actually have to get off your behind and work! Don't expect to lose weight just be sitting there and complaining and thinking about your dream body. You'll have to earn it! It make some time for a lot of people, but you will get there, and when you do, you will not regret it! I can promise ya'll on that one!
Keep at it! Don't give up! Remember why you wanted to lose weight in the first place! Find your motivation! Do you want to lose weight to live a longer life? Do you want to do stuff you never could before? Do you want more stamina? All of the above?
Eat healthier! Eating healthy is a HUGE part of weight lose. I will post some ways you can eat healthier in a different post. Very fatty and sugary and salty food will likely not help you lose weight.

You could eat twinkies all day and still lose weight as long as you're in a deficit..0 -

Sooo much I disagree with! Actually it is easy - far easier than I expected! As long as you realise its not a quick thing and to eat at a level that is sustainable (1200cals unless you're 5' and sedentary is not necessary unless you have an underlying medical condition). Learn moderation so you can have the occasional (or even daily) treat. Losing weight doesn't ever mean not eating pizza & ice cream again (thank goodness!), it means having a slice of pizza and a scoop of ice cream instead of a large pizza and tub of ice cream. Weigh, measure & log your food (preferably before you cook/ eat it so you don't get any nasty surprise. Have a sensible deficit - you don't need to strave to lose weight. Pills, potions and lotions don't work - if they did none of us would be overweight would we?!
Exercise for fitness & health rather than necessari;y for weight loss (if because of health issues you can't then you can lose weight through creating a calorie defict through food alone), make sure you eat enough food to fuel your recovery (so eat some of your exercise cals back). Find a routine or sport you enjoy, then its a pleasure not a chore.
Build healthier habits, eat things you don't mind eating forever, move doing things you enjoy and actually losing weight isn't any where near as hard as people make out. Keep it simple, don't overcomplicate it!0 -
