So question what could make a digital scale weigh you as lower then you are? also does battery life affect accuracy? today i weighed myself and the number seemed to low for how my body looks

Home scales do vary in how accurate they are. They may be affected by battery, by a soft board in your floor, by how you stand on it,dirt or an object jammed under it, etc. If another scale has you in the same ballpark, I wouldn't worry about it. Also, remember that your weight is likely to vary a good deal due to salt consumption, time of month, etc. reflecting water weight. Hubby and I each had a couple extra pounds this morning but last night's take out Chinese was to blame. High sodium!0
