Hi there,
Approaching my 40th birthday in January (22) I wondered if I should be a little bit healthier and fitter. I have two awesome kids that I want to watch grow up (currently 4 and 1yo), and a supportive wife. I'm reasonably active (completed a marathon in December) but struggle to loose a couple of kg. I loaded fitnesspal and have started on a journey of analysis of my lifestyle and diet.

Looks like my diet is the problem. I aim to rectify this in 2011. It's not a resolution (because I don't like new year resolutions), it's a committment.

It's unbelievable that a lot of 'local' specialities are included in the food database (Kaya Toast, Kopi-c, etc..), it looks like a lot of effort has been put into this part of the app. Great job!! Loving it.

Two days in and I'm averaging 100cals above my daily allocation (too many sugary foods for quick energy pickups, and an addiction to coffee??).

Good luck to those working hard to achieve their goals, I hope 2011 is a good one for you.
