Depends what your goals are.
Weight loss? No it's a bad idea. It will take you a couple of days, sometimes weeks to return to nutritional ketosis which will slow you down. Depends on the person.
Lifting? It has it's benefits but it's not needed.0 -

I'm trying to lose fat and gain more muscle. I'm also trying to lose weight in the process. But yes, I do lift about 3-4 times a week, and about 45-90 minutes each time in the gym. I just started the ketogenic diet about a month ago and I've lost about 10-11 pounds so far, although I assume most of that is water weight. Yes, I have musclw gains as well, but I'm also wondering of doing "carb ups" will help me achieve my goals faster, and become more efficent at burning fat.
You think I should do carb-ups?0
