    When my husband and I first started dating I realized he never complained or mention when I'd go a day or three without shaving my legs. The guy I dated before him did. So one day I asked future husband about it and he said his hands were so rough and callused he didn't noticed. So if rough hands = less leg shaving, I'm all for them.

    I don't wear lifting gloves, so I have callouses. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't mind a guy with rough hands. I'd take any hands at this point. :sad:

    Rough as in scratchy and prickly? No. There's a difference between "working hands" and "I hope you don't think you're touching me anywhere sensitive with those."

    I agree with this. Rough hands are sexy, but dry & flaky hands not so much

    Good thing to do with a dulled out shaving razor:

    Before tossing it, shave off your calluses. Works for me every time. At least it's less bumpy and as some know, really thick calluses actually hurt when the poundages (say curls for example) are up there.

    I agree that masculine hands are sexy, but scratchy umkempt are not. I like a gentleman with a rough side to him.

    My boyfriend's hands are really really rough and callused. I wouldn't say I love it, but I don't dislike it or find it a turn-off or anything.

    I do find a certain extent of calluses/roughness quite sexy though, shows they work hard in their lifting and probably lift some heavy-*kitten* weight! I like seeing obvious calluses on a guy. Just after it gets past a certain level, my feelings on it become neutral.

    Either way, I wouldn't expect anyone to change (ie: wear gloves) to suit my preferences. I'm not changing mine, and I have some decent calluses on my hands!

    Rough hands are nice - scratchy hands are not.

    I prefer a guy though who has larger hands than me - and while my hands look feminine - they are typically the same size as a 5'10 guy.

    So... slightly rough hands on a big guy.
