20something year old needs support

i have been on an off this site for a long time, as i would always just get depressed that i havnt lost weight in 2days. ive started again, this time with a far more patient outlook but i still have terrible will power when it comes to food ! if i fancy something or see something i like, all notions of a diet go out the window, especially when i am in a bad mood. when im upset, i will seriously binge eat. if someone has some tips to help, that would be great :)
