I'm Alex and i've gotten fed up with it all. Engieering student life is hard, especially 3rd year spent the whole of that year on a basic staple of Processed crap from iceland, Chips and far too much pasta. So for my final year i've decided its time to change, came down 2 weeks ago with the desire to cook properly every night, and so far i have, every night i've cooked and every night its been something diffrent. Started tracking over the last few days and i'm most certainly down on calories and saturated fats. Snacks are going as well, replaced from chocolate and crisps with nurta grain bars for the off time i have them now. but still have a little issue with high sugers as apples are rather high
One thing i can say from just cooking every night is that i'm far happier then i was, i look forward to cooking. I just hope i can keep it up when the term starts, but seeing my timetable no excuses!
on top of that i'm walking more to uni and actives, basically doing strength training with archery twice a week and rather a large work out cycling to it with all that weight on my back.
Reading other peoples introductions, i unfortunately have yet to weigh myself but i think that will be tomorrow when i can wander into town and get a set. but last time i was 115Kg at 21 years old that isn't fun.
So heres to a new academic year and hopefully a new me with a new degree at the end of the year.
