Fat / Carbs / Protien Question

I know these three things make up for your calorie count for the day. Well, let's say I over did it on fat on a day, but stayed below on carbs and protien. Does this negatively affect my weight loss, or would I still lose since I stayed below in carbs and protein. Just something I've been curious about. Today I went 10 over in the fat area, but stayed 20 under in carbs and 23 under in protein. I ended up staying under my 1800 calories goal, which is great!
Is this a case of "Don't go over in any one of those things" or "Going over in 1 is okay as long as the other 2 are down."

Going over on your macro goals doesn't matter for weight loss as long as you don't go over your calorie goal. Macros are more important for fitness goals.
Super simplified:
Fat for biological purposes (along with the other two)
Carbs for fueling movement
Protein for muscle retention (in conjunction with progressive load weight training)0 -

If you're going for a lower calorie diet (losing more than a pound per week), you're better off being over in fat IMO. It will make sure you absorb the nutrients you are getting and help keep your hormones in check.0

being under in protein is never a good thing-IMO
if your concerned about being over in fats, try being that much under the next few days.
you always want to meet ALL your macros, or come as close as possible (within your calorie limits)0
