Always read those labels on nutrition of your products. Example, Act 2 butter lovers popcorn is label as popped and unpopped.
Now whats up with that deal. Its label reads one cup popped is 25 calories, but I just popped a bag and it popped 8 cups from that one little bag,,wow....now you gotta multiply 8 times 25, so now you got 200 calories of popcorn to eat.
Nowhere on the box does it tell you it will pop out 8 cups and you have to calculate the calories,,,,Fuzzy labels, and the math on the box may be OK, but it is fuzzy too .... If I did that wrong , please jump in to correct me. If you are in the store this week, go look at the Act popcorn label,,,you will lose your mind. Note,,, I think we should all either weigh our food out, or use measuring cups to really find out how much we really are eating, no one can guess at food portions or weight. "" Do not believe what you read at first on those food labels, it can be misleading,.imho""

I don't know about the math because I can't see how the information is presented on the label.
But...the other hazard of popcorn is that many brands contain trans fats, and may not list it. Look for "unsaturated fats" as a marker for potential trans fats.0 -
Microwave popcorn scares me.
FYI.
