Newbie gainz (I love data)

Started lifting March 2013. No prior lifting, at least not in the last 25 years. Here's the data:

First Year
Start End Change
Total 570 1000 430
Squat 185 315 130
Bench 155 245 90
DL 205 440 235
OHP 70 155 85

Last 6 months (last 3 months has been a cut)
Start End Change
Total 1000 1100 100
Squat 315 370 55
Bench 245 250 5
DL 440 480 40
OHP 155 150 -5

The cut has slowed max's to zero, which is frustrating.

Here's the graph:

Hope things pick back up again after the cut is finished.

    Solid gains overall. Nice work.

That first year is a goldelock year... in fact .first 3 years you can really make a difference. Doesn't matter if you are older either.

You mention 25 years ago you lifted. Me too...and now I'm blowing those old PR out of the water. You will simply be amazed at what your body will do if you stay hungry.
