Heart rate monitors and BMR

Does anyone know how accurate the heart rate monitors are for measuring BMR? I use the Polar ft4 and tracked it for a 24 hour period. It says I burn around 4000 calories in a day (450 came from a workout). I know these aren't as accurate when you aren't exercising and just resting, but that seemed high.
Is that even realistic and if not, how can I get an accurate calculation?
I am 5'4 - age 38- 130 pounds - workout 6-7 days a week with HIIT or cardio strength interval training for an hour

It won't be accurate at all. Your best bet is just using an online calculator unless you want to go to a lab and have your RMR tested.
Your BMR is unaffected by your activity level. At your size, the online calculators should be pretty accurate.0 -
Your BMR is just the calories your body requires to exist...a HRM is going to be useless for that...your BMR is not affected by your activity. I think also that you may be confusing BMR and TDEE. A HRM would also be useless for determining your TDEE as well.0

How do you calculate TDEE?0

MFP estimates it. There are lots of other sites online that do, too.
