A New Jersey mother who is trying to become the fattest woman in the world sat down for a 30,000-calorie Christmas dinner over the weekend. Not sure why anyone would want to be the world's fattest woman.

Donna Simpson ate for two straight hours, the U.K.'s Daily Mail newspaper reported.

She ate two 25-pound turkeys, two maple-glazed hams, 15 lbs. of potatoes, five loaves of bread, 5 lbs. of herb stuffing, four pints of gravy, four pints of cranberry dressing and 20 lbs. of vegetables. At least she ate he veggies.

After that main course, Simpson also ate a "salad" of marshmallows, cream cheese, whipped cream and cookies.

"I eat as much as I want, whenever I want, but at this time of year I really go all out," she told the newspaper. She needs help. !!!

She also told the U.K.'s Sunday Mirror, "People who feel guilty about eating are hilarious."

Simpson holds the Guinness World Record for being the world's largest mother and has said she wants to become the fattest woman in the world.

People can sign up and pay to watch her eat online. Her website says her favourite food is sushi. Gee I know what I'm going to waste my money on. I wonder if she knows that she could die and leave her children without a mother. Sick.

For sure but I'm not going to pay to watch her eat herself to death.
  • its the disease. its called fame. You read about it, I read about it. The woman knows shes not going to make money off of her good looks or charm. She has an internet site where people pay to watch her eat. Some sort of food porn. She has an eating disorder and decided to exploit it to make herself money. Do you think she really feels good about herself at the end of the day? no. but she has enablers in her family because no one gets that big without help. I think we all know she isnt going to get up and cook or even shop. Poor lady, I feel terrible for her and her family and also feel guilty for even reading the article because just looking at the page boosts her "fame value"

My husband was reading the article outloud to us over breakfast this morning. I had to ask him to stop, I was so sickened at hearing what she consumed.
Nice role model for her children eh?

I can see how some might see this thread as a bit negative as we're here to support others not exploit their food disorders whatever they may be. Same thing when I see ppl on here making fun of others they see at the gym, that makes no sense to me either, we're all on this site for pretty similar reasons. Support seems to work by far the best:smokin:

I thought her favorite would be seafood.

    Any food she sees...she eats.

    Too soon?
  • Hah - i gained 4 lbs over Christmas because my birthday is on the 23rd so we cut cake on my birthday and then again on Christmas day, and i swear i ate half a plate of cookies on top of that. I didn't eat a turkey or a ham, but i thought i had been pretty bad. Guess not compared to that woman. At least I've already lost 3 of those 4 lbs!!! :)

We're all struggling to lose weight and this woman is determined to fatten herself to death? CRAZY!
  • My goodness... That's... I don't know. I just can't comprehend how anyone can consume that much food - especially in only 2 hours. I think she does need some help, even if it is just to show her child a better role model. But who are we to judge? We can't live in someone else's mind to understand where they are coming from or how they feel.

I definately don't feel bad about eating as much as I did this holiday season. Kind of makes me sick to my stomach trying to think about eating all that. Yucky.

I'm so with you on the gym posts!!! I hate seeing those posts....does it really matter what they're wearing or how they're working out at least they are working out and making an effort!! That is one of my biggest pet peeves on this site!!! Oh and the one I keep seeing about muscle weighs more than fat myth....a pound is a pound is a pound. Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up less space but it does not weigh more people!!! Sorry I got off topic but those two things drive me crazy! Wish y'all a very healthy and happy New Year!!!
