How to figure the calories

My Daughter brought this home from her health class.
On the Nutrition label it tells you the calories of the Item but It is some times off.
Total Calories: #
You first take
Fat Grams: # x 9 = ???
Carbohydrate Grams: # x 4=???
Protein Grams # x 4= ???
Then you add all the total numbers that you come up with ( fat + carbs+ pro= total amount of calories.)
example... Rold gold tiny pretzels
Package calories says...110 pr serving.
Fat 1g x 9= 9
Carb. 23g x 4= 92
Protein 2g x 4 = 8
9+92+8 =109
total actual calories is 109 instead of 110.
Thought this was interesting...
It isn't off by much. But it might be good to know.
