wow, thanks.. that really stinks doesn't it...I'm to the point that I don't even want to eat anything lol.. I think Ice cubes might be the safe, but who know's what's in my city water...lol
  • You know, this article reminded me of something my dad told me a long time ago. He said we need to quit trying to "fix what isn't broken." He also said that we should eat what we want. That 90% of the battle is portion control and common sense. The only thing I buy that's low- or non-fat is milk. I just try to control the portions we eat and cook the foods I have to cook in a healthy way. I don't fry anything. Ever. I bake or broil or roast everything. I very rarely ever use oil of any kind because my son had open-heart surgery at a year old and his doctor told me to keep the fat intake down as much as possible, as he's at a higher risk of heart disease as he gets older. We don't eat out and I cook every meal we eat. I guess what I'm trying to say is this article didn't surprise me one little bit.
  • The "portion control" would be MY issue! LOL!

good article and it confirmed some of my suspicions, Thanks
  • The biggest portion on your plate should come from veggies. A portion of chicken is equivalent to about the palm of your hand.

One thing people really need to know even more than that crap is how bad refined carbohydrates are. They just turn to sugar and from there into fat in your body. White rice, white breads, white pastas. You're just consuming sugar. Juices are another thing that people don't seem to know about. Fruit juices are so ridiculously full of sugar. If you want some fruit juice then juice it yourself otherwise don't bother.

By the way that article was already posted earlier today.

The best thing I found in that article was this.
"EAT RIGHT RULE: If your food can go bad, it's good for you. If it can't go bad, it's bad for you."
