As it looks like (according to your ticket) you've been losing weight without it my question is Why? There can be a lot of dude effects with these things do do some research before you decide. Also if your losing weight without it ...

    Good luck

It's not actually poop. From what I understand it's liquid fat seeping out of your *kitten* because xenical stops your body absorbing fat from the food you eat. In any event, it's about as sexy as it sounds.

Hi ya, I've just recently stopped taking it having been on it since November. I found that it really made me question what I put in my mouth as if you eat over the recommended fat allowance for food and per meal then be prepared to end up with unpleasant toilet issues. It is known as the tango effect as it will cause loose orange deposits due to the fat it expels. Can be difficult to flush as fat floats and you may find you do leak particularly if you have eaten very badly. If you stick to what is recommended then you will be fine. I've only come off it now as I feel I've finally got control of my eating where I don't need the threat of the terrible happening. I had to yo monthly to have my weight checked at the gps as they would only give it if you were showing to be losing weight on it. Had a target amount of 5% loss in the first three months and a further 5% by six months. Think these could be standard targets. I had gone to docs as I was considering surgery and being on this for a period of time was a requirement for me. Having done it now and learned some things along the way I now no longer feel like I need surgery and this medication has definitely helped me take control of what I was doing to myself.

From my understanding you only have problems if you eat too much fat.

Basically I lost 20kg+ on my own, then fell pregnant. I lost my first baby in February this year and then I had another loss in July this year. So my emotional eating has kind of spiraled out of control. I am struggling to get my motivation back. I think the doctor prescribed this for me as a way of getting things moving again. As you can probably imagine I am struggling. I was already suffering depression and have an underactive thyroid. Hubby and I are planning on trying again next year for a baby so I'm trying to get myself back on track again to being healthy.

    Thanks for the adivce

Considering I paid $120 for 1 months supply I might as well use it, otherwise it is a waste of money.

No pill is going to fix things. Plus, Xenical pulls fat out of your food (thereby reducing the calories you process) and leaks it out your bum. Sounds fine you say? Well yes, possibly, except getting a decent amount of good fat in your diet is really important.

Cut your carbs, up your protein, stop eating rubbish = win.

Oh ... and look at your phrasing. "My doctor has prescribed" taking the responsibility off you, when you probably should have wrote "I went to the doctor and got him to prescribe Xenical because I'm looking for something easier than eating properly and exercising".

But... fat is good. Fat isn't what is making you gain weight or hold on to weight. It's a simple issue of eating too many calories. So I don't see how this will really help since you won't be learning anything besides to stay away from fat. Which is dumb to do.
