Resting Heart Rate

For the past 20 years I have had bradycardia, and my normal resting heart rate is always around 50. However, since I began loosing weight, (I have lost about 20 pounds), my resting heart rate had dropped to around 43-45. I was wondering if this is a normal effect of weight loss.
I have an appointment with my cardiologist scheduled, but not until the beginning of November, which is the earliest he can see me as his schedule is 100% full. Of course, if it drops down into the 30s and I feel dizzy or otherwise ill, I would immediately call an ambulance. But the funny thing is, at the 43-45 level I don't really feel any different.
