why am I retaining so much water?!

I am 18 years old and a female. I work out six days a week.. I don't intake anymore than 2,000 mg of sodium per day and I drink a TON of water.. I am not trying to lose weight, I just want to stay the same. What can I do to stop retaining so much water and bloating so easily? I drink a gallon a day.

    Salt and pre-menses come to mind, regarding water retention. If the water leaves eventually then it's not a problem right?

    Caffeine wrings out water short-term.

    I don't think you should get worked up about perceived bloat unless there is discomfort.
