I've been using the site now for a few weeks and felt I was finally confident enough to introduce myself. Near the end of college I let myself go and put on most of the weight I have now. I have been working an office job ever since which didn't help any.
I'm now into my third week on the site and changing my life. I'm still struggling with eating enough calories. Cutting all the garbage out and only eating healthy has made it seem like i'm eating more than ever. I'm up at about 4:30am and still in the habit of rushing out the door so I end up not eating breakfast or anything else till i get home about 11 hours later. In the past I would have filled that void with some sort of fast food, but I know that thats now on the no no list if I truly want to stay dedicated to treating my self right.
I have also been working out 3 times a week. I put in a little bit of strength training and the rest cardio. Each week I try pushing myself a little harder. I already have plans for extending my workouts to outside of the gym by playing sports and going on mountain biking excursions with friends.
I also want to thank everyone who has posted on these boards, I have been reading your stories and it has motivated me more than ever. I hope to be an active community member and hopefully someday be an inspiration to other people.

Welcome to the site...now that you've posted we can help keep you accountable (add me as a friend)!! I too got out of control during college and now have a desk job BUT I'm a fellow 4:30 am riser. I make sure that I get in at least 4 but preferable 6 work outs a week. I stopped eating fast foods several years ago, cut out sodas last year, and this year all the high fructose corn syrup is out. This site IS life changing so be prepared! Best of luck on your journey!0
