Eating before or after working out...

So I usually have a snack at work about 4 pm, and am home by 7 pm. Should I eat something before I work out at 7:15, or should I wait until after working out? And how much longer should I wait after working out?

    3 hours is a long time to go without food before working out. It all depends on your body though, if you feel hungry or drained when working out then yeah, I would probably eat an hour or an hour and a half before working out, something with a decent amount of complex carbs to fuel the workout.
