How to get the oil out of refrigerated fried rice?

Hi, is there any good way to get the oil out of refrigerated fried rice? I've heard that warming the rice and then putting out on a paper plate helps, though I'd like something that isn't quite so wasteful if possible.

Unless it's floating in oil or otherwise has a LOT you're not going to get rid of most of it.
What is wasteful... using a paper plate? Use a newspaper? If you mean you don't want to waste the oil, I think you're hoping for way too much.0 -
You let someone else eat it.......me for example.0

Boil then rinse it? Maybe? That sounds disgusting, why not make fresh rice or eat something else?0

Making my own fried rice is the method I employ.0

I think once it's in there, you're pretty much stuck with it. A little bit will bleed out onto a paper plate, but most of it will have soaked in to the rice.0
