I don't drink during a workout. Hydrate throughout the day and it shouldn't be necessary. I run up to 6 miles in a workout, and sometimes I don't even have a glass of water right away when I'm finished, either. I hate to slosh through a run.0

I also get sick when I drink water during a work out. Sometimes I use a recovery drink during intense work outs.0

I drink a little water before and a lot after my cardio but none during it.0

I am used to taking just sips of water at intervals during work outs, but if I am doing a very long workout, I will cut a sports drink with 50% water to make it less sweet. I know some people who use Pedialyte as it is very well balanced and not too sweet. Before I gave up artificial sweeteners, I swore by Propel. It made a big difference in how I felt after a workout.0

Water. You'll get used to it. You're just not used to the workout aspect.
I do sometimes mix in cytomax into my water though.0 -
If you can't drink water, I'm afraid your time on Earth will be limited...0

Do you have an exceptional medical history?
Are you talking about during or after a particularly intense workout? (Take sips of water or whatever you choose until you cool down, don't drink to cool down.)
People drink different things but if you're nauseous on water, nothing else will avoid that nausea. It's all essentially water with additives.0 -
tequila

it does. this also helps to maintain a cooler body temperature.0 -

Drink before and after. If you feel like you have to drink during, add MiO.0

If I drink a gallon of water while working out then I get nauseous but generally it's not a problem.0 -
Are you doing loads of cardio and drinking too much? Yeah, that will make you feel sick.
Just a few sips whilst you're working out is enough....make sure you drink throughout the day.0 -

Are you drinking only when you're thirsty?
If not, try it and see if that provides relief.
I rarely drink plain water, even though I live in an arid area (southern California). On the other hand, I get my water intake through coffee, iced tea, soda, and food where I consume about a pound of salad at lunch and at least ½ a pound of green veggies at night.
Running? (when I start running again) I take water only if it's warm (75º +) and I'm running over an hour.
The reason is simple - our body doesn't need that much water and science tells us that (Google "HEINZ VALTIN" and "Noakes drink to thirst").0 -
Now I want a beer, dangit.0

Milk?

I drink a preworkout powder in my water before and during my workout. But if plain water makes you nauseated, then maybe a preworkout wouldn't be a great idea for you. :ohwell: Just a suggestion.0
