A little "self-help"

I posted this in my blog but thought I'd share here too.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I work with clients of all ages who deal with anxiety, depression and other issues. One of the big ones that many people seem to struggle with is emotional eating. I get this. I've done this. One thing that I decided to do as I was training was to put myself through the same things I would put my clients through...filling out worksheets, answering the hard questions and doing behavioural experiments.

I would love to share with you a few worksheets that have helped my clients and myself with all those negative thoughts that seem to come into our mind (and which we might not even recognise may change how we feel and behave):

No one worksheet is going to be the end all. If things are really bad, I'd suggest seeing a therapist, particularly one who uses CBT. But it's a good start!

Thank you - I took a CBT class recently and even though the worksheets seemed silly, I found them amazingly effective.
do you have any instructions on them ( especially the critical voice one?)
