what makes your stomach growl like your hungry when you know you shouldnt be?

    My stomach growls when I'm bored sometimes haha, or when I smell something delicious, like chocolate! Other times, you may just be thirsty!

    LOL, this is a great, positive way to look at the situation!

    I like to think tummy is accustomed to eating/digesting at certain times of the day, and if food isn't in there, it growls. This is just a matter of time and adjustment. Tummy eventually gets over itself and goes "Oh, okay *sulks*"

    This is gonna sound icky but it's the truth. When you hear your tummy growling or feel movement in your midsection it is food/water moving through your intestines. So basically pre-poo. LOL! If your tummy is growling in the area of your literal stomach (right around/below your ribcage on the left) then it is your stomach convulsing most likely due to hunger pangs. :)
