Hi!
I am 33 years old and my weight has been up and down since I was 18, when I was diagnosed with an illness that required a year of steroids. Through the ups and downs I have established a relationship with food. When I think back over my life I realize I associate certain times in my life with my weight. "oh, I was thin then", etc. I no longer want a relationship with food. I don't want to eat just because I am happy or sad or mad or depressed! I want to eat only because it is fuel for my body. It is time that the food and I broke up!

My husband quotes the saying, "Eat to live, not live to eat!" I am like you, I reward myself for whatever emotion I am feeling. I know it is possible when I see all the success that some of these members are ha ving. Good luck!0
