Male-Only one area is sore after workout

So I am trying to loose fat and build up strength. I started increasing weight training from what I used to. Last night I had a hard work out focusing on my biceps, back, and chest. Did bench press, curls, machines, push-ups, etc. Then I did some cardio at the end. This morning only the upper sides of my back (left & right) are sore, by biceps and chest feel fine. How sore should my biceps/chest get during workouts? Is this a sign I need to do more reps? I was excepting to be sore everywhere I focused on.
