Sausage and Tomato Pasta
Been making this for years - delicious but qiuck and easy - I always keep the ingredients on hand.
Slice 1 lean turkey sausage, brown in a large pan. While browning, cook about 1/2 bag or box of noodles (6-8 oz.) - I usually use No Yolk broad egg noodles, but you could sub anything really. After sausage is browned, add two cans flavored diced tomatoes and a dash of sugar. Can be any variety of tomatoes - I tend to use the basil/oregano ones. Let simmer and heat through while noodles finish - then combine all together. Usually can serve 4-6 depending on how large your servings are and comes out to around 300 (6 servings) - 450 (4 servings) calories per serving. Sodium can be a bit high with the tomatoes if you're watching your intake.
