EXTEMELY EXHAUSTED!!

Hi guys. I am sooooooo extremely tired every day. I feel like I am mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted. I moved about 2 weeks ago. I know that this can cause major stress.

Has anyone else experienced extreme fatigue, weakness, headaches, and all the above with a move? I am not used to it. I cannot find my motivation right now. Will this and the stress effect my weight loss when eating in a deficit?

I also eat whatever the hell I want. Maybe not getting enough micronutrients? (maybe answered my own question) hmmm.

What did you do to get over this slump? Just looking for some motivation and advice. Thank you

If you're not stressing over selfies, then you're not taking them right

HAHAHA @ selfies. Yeah I don't really care about selfies. But yes I eat a lot. My goal is set at 1510 right now. I even upped it to maintenance during the move. I eat back my exercise calories or most of them. I did eat out a lot during the past few weeks while trying to move and get settled in. I have been able to sleep 8 hours the fast few nights, but still exhausted. Before the move my diet was pretty much 80/20. 80% whole foods and 20% less nutritional (as they say) foods. Not sure if that is my problem though.

    ETA: my diary is open.

Have you ever suffered from anemia? I ask because your low-ish on iron. I could be dead wrong, but it's all I see that looks out of place in your diary, and you're a girl so I know you uhhh need more iron and stuff at certain times of the month. I'll shutup now.

If your diary is accurate, you could use more vegetables and fruits. Also, you're eating a lot of sugar -- ice cream and such. I know my sister had an issue with feeling extremely fatigued if she ate too much sugar. That all being said, moving is very stressful, and sometimes with a big change like that, you have enough adrenalin to do the move (packing, moving, unpacking), but then when it's over, sometimes the body will say, "I've had enough, now I'm tired." Up your intake of fresh fruits and veggies, take a multivitamin, and then see how you feel in a week.

Do you sleep well though? Toss and turn? I can tell you 8 hours isn't enough for me to not feel exhausted...right now I'm needing 9-10 hours a night to keep up with my training and give my body time to repair itself. Anything less and I feel the need to crawl under my desk and take a nap.

Lol no no that sounds like an option. My mother gets on me about that ALL THE TIME. I think iron deficiency runs in our family.

    Thanks!!

No I do not sleep well. I hear everything. Between my cat getting used to the new place and my hearing my 1 year old nephew up early, I am in and out of sleep.

Yes you are very right. I have not been getting in my fruits and vegetables. I have been slacking in the micronutrient department big time.

    Thank you for the advice!

I get like this whenever I am stressed out. I'm not sure why but my body just wants to sleep when I am stressed. Most of the time I have to really push myself to get through it, unfortunately that is my only tip.

I've been super tired lately too, but I'm in southern PA and the leaves are starting to turn and fall which means mold count has just shot up! Giving me super allergies...Allergies always make me super tired.

Any chance your tired has nothing to do with stress and something to do with environment?

Me too , when I eat too much sugar or carbs I feel drained .

Good luck , and maybe it is the move?

Hmm not sure. I mean I have been living here in FL for 4 years now and not aware of the environment getting to me. Its still hot and humid as all hell over here. I didn't start to feel this way until the move started. I have never had allergies either, but I know that I can get them.
