The recommendation you mention is outdated, from the time when it was believed that dietary cholesterol had a direct effect on blood cholesterol. This turned out not to be the case, and you can eat as many eggs as you'd like.
Here's a nice article which explains in very easy terms why it's ok to eat eggs.
