I resisted temptation!!!!!

I can't believe I did it! On the way home this evening, I decided to stop at Sonic to get something to drink. Since starting MFP, I really don't do the fast food thing (thanks Noodlehead!) anymore. This afternoon was a bit frustrating and stressful and I thought I deserve a Dr. Pepper, plus my 2yr old wanted some chocolate milk. Anyway, I stopped at Sonic and pushed the button. BUT! I just could not bring myself to order a regular Dr. Pepper. While I was tempted by the Red Velvet Cheesecake blast too, I didn't order EITHER! I got a medium Diet Dr. Pepper and that was it! After walking 3 miles earlier, I didn't want to waste my hard work on empty calories. Woo Hoo! I'm making progress!:happy:

Great job! Trust me, I was a former soda fiend!!! Eventually, it got to the point where I couldn't even handle all of the carbonation... and now, a Diet Dr. Pepper is like a dessert because it's still super sweet! Keep up the great work!!!! ... And rock on with the 3 miles!0

That's fantastic -- well done you! I'm a Diet Dr Pepper fan myself, althought I don't drink it very much -- too sweet. It's funny how our tastes change as start eating better. I took my son to the movies today, and bought him some popcorn. The smell of it was actually turning my stomach!0
