I've been trying to get myself motivated to lose weight for a little over a week now. I started walking, but am having a rough time getting and staying motivated. I have found that by using this site to track my food, I am much more accountable and am eating far less than I used to, especially sweets now that I have to fess up to them. Thank you so much for this site!!

How do you get/stay motivated to keep going, especially when you're just starting out? If I could establish a routine, I bet this would be so much easier.

    try to pair up with a few buddies on here to keep motivated

    Make it challenge for yourself to stay under your calorie goal. Almost like a game! It can be fun to plan your day and keep your calorie count in check. You end up starting to look forward to your day and to the things you have planned (food and/or exercise).
