Kia ora!

I'm NZGeekGirl and I'm from New Zealand. I have been around on the site once...a looooooooooong time ago and now I'm ready to jump back into it. I have been following WW for a while (unofficially) but with the system change and $$ tight I needed something to get me motivated and track what I'm doing. My first thought was this site as I have been on before and I've seeing how well a friend of mine is doing here!

I'm aim to lose around 6kg as part of my Day Zero Project goals and then after that I might just readjust the goal post.

Looking forward to chatting with people and hopefully getting to know some of you!

I think this is better than any other "plan". I never thought I'd be able to lose this much weight and yet it wasn't even that hard.
I have 5 kg to go to my goal weight now. Yeah!

Wish you luck, and most importantly - it can be done.
  • I'm already very encouraged at how easy it is to use the site. I dreaded the idea of working out calories because in the past it has always seemed to difficult, this site makes it so easy though. I also love that there aren't hideous high fees involved that exclude me plus I can connect with others which I am so looking forward to doing! I have lost weight on my own before pre-kids but these days I need a little more motivation!

And Bless the person that made an Andriod app as well!!!!

Yes it really helps when you make friends on here - it keeps you motivated.

BTW - my hubby is from New Zealand! What a beautiful country.

What is the Zero Day One project (? not sure if I rememebr it correctly) - I noticed it in one of your replies to a post.
  • Thank you!!

Day Zero Project is a goal setting project, you set a list of 101 goals that you want to achieve in 1001 days. The idea being that they still "stretch" you but it gives you a more achievable time frame in which to complete your goals than say when you set New Years resolutions.
