Cardio + MFP

So I'm currently cutting right now and I usually try to burn 400 cals when I do cardio (some days of the week)
When I enter that exercise in the app, it adds more calories and wondering if that's okay? I'm afraid when I add the exercise and the cals go up, I won't lose body fat. Or should I not add the exercise and continue with my daily intake instead? i
Thanks in advance.

Search "eating back exercise calories" for a plethora of threads containing tons of advice on this topic.
Basically, your calorie deficit is built into the goal MFP gives you so when you exercise you get to eat more to maintain the same deficit.0 -
This post is great for people getting started. It answers questions like this one as well as a few others.

QFT. The best part is this explanation (quoted from the linked page):You tell MFP: I'd like to lose 1lb/week.
MFP says: Hey, you should eat X calories every day to lose 1lb/week.
You then decide to exercise and you burn 400 calories.
MFP says: Hey you pecker, you said you wanted to lose 1lb/week. Now you need to eat X+400 because you told me you wanted to lose 1lb/week.0
