Food & Exercise Tracker

Hi,
I have only been a member of this site for a few days but I must say that the food and exercise tracker has helped me enormously. I have always exercised regularly and thought I was eating sufficient food to cope with the exercise I was doing, but obviously not. Come early evening, I always used to feel as though I had very little energy. I used to 'perk up' after my evening meal but then a little later on, I would binge on anything which included extra toast (Not too bad) or, biscuits, crisps (chips in USA) and basically anything I could lay my hands on to satisfy my hunger.
I thought that this binge eating was down to me being weak willed until I started using the MFP site and the food and exercise tools. Over the last four days that I have been using these tools my eating habits have been transformed. I'm convinced that this happened because I can now keep an accuratish (Is that a word?) track of the calories I'm expending and what I need to take on board to either maintain my weight or for some other goal. I'm happy to say that since using these trackers, my late evening food binges have ceased because I no longer have the craving for more (usually bad) food.
I would definitely recommend using the food tracking tool even though it make take a little time to complete when first starting to use it. In my opinion it's worth the extra time and effort
Good luck with your individual goals.
Peter
