How Is This Possible

4th week in and doing pretty good for me. Having one of those weeks where I have been weighing myself everyday. Usually I only do it once a week but every now and then feel the urge to do this daily thing. Yesterday I went slightly off track, went out for dinner, drunk half a bottle of wine, had prawns which I dipped in seafood sauce, ate 3 fries, had about 10 pieces of salt and pepper squid and finished off with one of those mini pavs with cream and a scoop of icecream. So I get on the scales this morning and in one day have gained 1kg!!! Didn't even think that was physically possible.

    You are retaining water because of the high level of sodium (salt). Dink plenty of water, eat normally, try not to eat too salty for the next few days, and you will drop all that in no time. It happens to all of us.

    Fried food & wine & sugar. Drink lots of water to flush it out. Yes, it will happen if we let our guard down.
