I plateaud twice in 6 months and they both took 3 week or so to break. Just keep working hard and drink lots of water. Make sure you are eating good whole foods and not fried fatty foods.

Stay strong and keep on keepin' on !! you can do this

I would say 3 weeks only from my experience though

It's different for everyone, and it depends how quickly you normally lose. Say you've consistently been losing 1lb per week for eight weeks or so. If you then go three weeks without losing, I'd say you'd hit a plateau. It's not always so 'linear' though. Some might lost 1lb one week, nothing the next, then 2lb the next. It's just something you have to judge over time :)

and in that 3 wks change it up. I told a PT I was walking each day 20 minutes on my morning break as a supplement to my other exercise. She suggested doing other exercise each day. My options are limited but I tell ya, I can do push ups on the handicap bar in the bathroom, take the stairs up and down, do know ups and kick backs in between the walking. IDK what any one things looking out the window. They are prob wishing they were out there with me.

She said changing it up will keep you going strong! Even food.........if you eat 1200 cals...........add 100 a day for a week. Or if you eat all yoru exercise cals, eat 1/2.

The body is always adapting to what we are living through. Think of ppl who survive in horrible situations. They live, but sometimes come out the same size, why is that>

    Good luck to you!!!

I would say more than a month, but I suppose its different for deifferent people. Mine lasted 3 month, up and down the same 2lb, I plodded on and all of a sudden it started falling off again.

A true plateau is 4-6 weeks.

Maybe you can increase your cardio, do some jogging or your favorite cardio.
