QUESTION FOR MY RUNNERS - does anyone use Active to sign up for races???? Do you really save $$$ if it worth it?

In some of my local races, I have no other choice but to go through them.
Just be careful what extra's you sign up for. For example, insurance is optional. For example if you get hurt a week before your run, you can get your race fee back. Some races are transferable if you can't make it, but read the fine print.
Also, you get signed up for 3 free magazines (unless you uncheck mark it) and will automatically pay for magazine subscriptions from the CC you use to pay for the race fees unless you cancel by the date they give you. Just read everything carefully. Know what you are signing up for.0 -
Are you talking of the subscription fee Active Charges one time (i think it's called ActiveAdvantage) every year and suggest to save on race fees through the year?
If yes, I have never tried being the Advantage member. Disadvantage I thought would be being stuck to signing only those races to cover-up this membership cost and to save few bucks in that year.
I guess it would helpful if races you plan on doing are via Active .... all or most of them.0
