The air is cooler and I'm hungrier

I'm wondering if there's a link to seasonal changes and appetite. Sticking to 1200 calories a day wasn't difficult until now. I've been doing this since 1/1/14, and all of a sudden I'm having a problem!

I always have trouble in the winter. I live in a northern state and we have crazy cold weather..I struggle when the temp. drops0

Well your body does use calories to keep your temperature regulated in lower temperatures. Perhaps there's some sort of evolutionary response making you want to to eat more as winter draws near to prepare for the lower availability of food during the colder parts of the year.0

Yep. I am worried about when November and December roll around. Darkness at 5 pm, cold weather - I struggle with it every year - am having a harder time now already (although exercise helps).0
