My Miniature Success

Yesterday my hubs and I volunteered for 4 hours, during that time I shopped on ASOS.com and found soooo many cute clothes, so I got his opinion on some stuff. Afterwards we went out for a nice lunch and then to the mall. I thought he wanted to look at shoes or something, but no, he took me to a dressy boutique (apparently looking through the clothes online for 4 hours made him wanna treat me like a doll), sat me in the fitting room and brought me dozens of cute things to try on for him. The surprise came when I was on the 3rd dress and I noticed it was a small. I asked him to get me the medium and he said "Why, the last 2 you tried on were smalls." LOL! They fit me so well, and he even bought me one!
Just thought I would share, I've been feeling a bit down about my fitness journey lately, but that made me feel so much better and MADE me see, acknowledge and APPRECIATE the difference!

Have you started measuring your success through pictures? That is the BEST part of my journey to me. Seeing my body transform and realizing that it is PROGRESS!! CONGRATS on the fit!0

That has got to be one of the sweetest stories! How good that must make you feel that he cares and supports you like that. It's funny I think our men maybe some of us wives too underestimate how much positive influence they can have when we're trying to get healthier and lose weight. Even just being indifferent can hurt.
I for one like you am thankful for a supportive hubby! You are doing awesome keep it up!0 -
What a sweet heart!!! That is so awesome!! Wish Billy would do something like that for me.0

You're right. When I had tried on my new size 9's yesterday and showed hubby, he was indifferent at first and saw how much it hurt me, cuz I started giving him the silent treatment and THEN he acknowledged it. Men can be so dumb, but frostyisis's hubby has got it figured out, the lucky gal!0 -
Yeah he is a sweetie... I am so happy that I am in smalls, though I would have been just as happy to fit into mediums well. LOL, I guess that's one of the perks of marrying up (in age I mean, he's 8 years my senior). Added experience with how to treat a woman right. I have started taking progress pics, it does help and motivate as well, much better than the morning stare in the mirror naked grabbing and mushing together all the chunky parts I don't like.0

Congratulations that is amazing!
Oh and you really are lucky to have a supportive as opposed to indifferent hubby Iv been trying to get mine on the wieghtloss bandwagon since he has over a hundred pounds he could spare and he just doesn't feel motivated and when i tell him how im doing he just says thats good. lol i don't know haha maybe he will catch on but if he doesn't I will love him anyway cause I already do hehe. he just worries me since he is adopted and I have know idea on his biological inheritances such as health related issues that tend to be passed on genetically.0 -
That's a HUGE success! Good for you on the transformation (and on the awesome guy).
